A giant leap for Ethiopia, a bigger stage for TAIDEN

Since the 2015 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation took place in Johannesburg, China has initiated a proactive connection with Ethiopia in development strategies. Sino-Ethiopian cooperation shifted from aid to investment, which brings along transnational movements of goods, technologies, information, services, currencies and personnel, etc. TAIDEN seized the great opportunity in this trend and accomplished another flag project after the African Union Headquarter in Ethiopia. That is the Harar Cultural Center project in 2016.

Harar Cultural Center is built for the celebration of 11th Ethiopian Nations, Nationalities, and People’s Day, located in Harar-capital of Hararghe Region. The three halls in Harar Cultural Center which seat respectively 2100, 300 and 100 people are all equipped with TAIDEN conference system, with comprehensive features of speaking, voting, interpreting, video tracking, central control, recording and name display, etc. In the 2100-seat hall, 13 units of HCS-8300 series Multimedia Congress System are installed. The first three rows of seats with tables, totaling at 100, each equipped with an HCS-48U10 series Fully Digital Congress Unit and one HCS-1080 E-ink Nameplate. The rest 2000 seats all get a HCS-4326NDE Fully Digital Congress Unit with five voting keys and 64 CHs selection and a HCS-4327 handheld microphone on the armrest.

On December 8, the 11th Ethiopian Nations, Nationalities, and People's Day opened in Hararghe Region. Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Delsalegn, Deputy Prime Minister Ato Demeke Mekonnen and Speaker of the House of Federation Yalew Abate and a list of foreign ambassadors in Ethiopia as well as representatives from different regional states attended. President Omar al-Bashir of Sudan and President Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti were also invited. There were all together more than 2000 attendees. After giving installation assistance and operation training, TAIDEN engineers stayed in Ethiopia to better guarantee the smooth proceeding of conferences.

ISE 2023

TAIDEN showcased the most comprehensive and robust product lineup and solutions for conferences at Integrated System Europe 2023, often referred to as ISE, the world’s largest AV systems integration show held in Barcelona, Spain from January 31 to February 3.

ISE 2022
