TAIDEN at the 16th Asian Games Chefs de Mission Seminar

The 16th Asian Games Chefs de Mission Seminar was successfully held in Guangzhou from November 11th to 13th. The seminar is a milestone of Guangzhou’s preparation for the 2010 Asian Games, also a summary of the preparation work of Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC). At the seminar Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC) released entry policy and procedures to 40 national Olympic Committees of Asian countries and regions and officially made invitation for participation to each Olympic Committee. Some 400 delegates attended the seminar.
Attendees at the opening ceremony included Yang Shu'an, Vice President of GAGOC, Vice Minister of the General Administration of Sport of China (GASC);Yang Guangning, Mayor of Guangzhou, Vice President and Secretary General of GAGOC; Huang Yongjiang, Vice Chairman of the OCA; Vinod Kumar Tiwari, Manager of International and NOC Relations of the OCA.; M. Jegathesan, Chairman of the Medical Committee of the OCA; Zhang Jilong, Chairman of the OCA Sports Committee. The opening ceremony was chaired by Xu Ruisheng, Vice Mayor of Guangzhou and Executive Deputy Secretary General of GAGOC.
TAIDEN digital simultaneous interpretation system was used in this seminar and was well received by AGOG for its superb quality and performance.
